Live the yoga life

My story
How Kalpvraksh came to be
Yoga found me long before I ever thought of teaching it. In my own search for steadiness, through busy, stressful years, I kept returning to the mat, and each time it gave something back: a calmer mind, a stronger body, a slower breath. What began as my own practice slowly became the thing I most wanted to share.
I trained deeply in the traditional systems, from Ashtanga and Pranayama to meditation and therapeutic yoga, and earned my certification from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. But the longer I taught, the more I realised yoga is never one-size-fits-all. A new mother, someone recovering from illness, a complete beginner and a seasoned practitioner all need something different, and all deserve to feel welcome.
That belief is why I started Kalpvraksh Yoga Studio. The name comes from the Kalpavriksha, the wish-fulfilling tree, because I wanted a space where people could come as they are and grow, gently, at their own pace. My teaching reaches beyond postures into breath, nutrition and everyday lifestyle, so that a calmer, healthier life takes root not just on the mat, but in how you live.
Whether you are unrolling a mat for the very first time or returning to a long-held practice, my hope is simple: that you leave each class feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and a little more at home in yourself.
See you on the mat. Shweta Jain
